A Battery Material Machinery client based in Oxfordshire is on the lookout for a Functional Safety Engineer to help on a 3-6 month contract.
Logistics on the Position:

  • Outside IR35
  • Hybrid working (3 days onsite) 

The Company
Specialising specifically within Battery Manufacturing, my client have multiple clients within the Automotive, Medical, Industrial and Renewable Sector.
They are also a market leader within Battery Management Systems and work as a small but specialised R&D Team.
The project for this contract will specifically focus on Special Purpose Machinery Industry.

Functional Safety Engineer
As a Senior and Specialised Engineer, you will be expected to hit the ground running with the project, therefore having at least 5-10 years’ experience working with Functional Safety is required.
You shall be working alongside the software and hardware team who will be working collaboratively from concept to production.
The main requirements include: 

  • 5+ years’ experience with Functional Safety
  • ISO 12100 (necessary)
  • Understanding of other Functional Safety Standards (13485, 26262, BS 349, Semi-S 10 etc.)
  • Experience with Battery Industries

My client also acknowledge experience in other areas of Electronics design, especially within the Automotive, EV or Aviation Industries. The position is also looking for someone who can work a full 40-hour week.
